Acrylic (often know as Plexiglass or Perspex) is an extremely popular transparent plastic. It's strong, lightweight and has a very high level of transparency. It bonds well with adhesives and solvents, and is easy to cut and fabricate with a CNC router, such as the one used at the Visual Imaging workshop. We can supply full standard size (1220 x 2440mm) acrylic sheets in several thicknesses. Edge polishing also available.
